Athlone Emergency Defibrillator Group held a CPR training day today, 12th November 2022 in Golden Island Shopping Centre.
There was great interest from the public with both young and old joining us to learn how to do CPR and use an AED.
The mission of Athlone Emergency Defibrillator Group is for there to be a defibrillator within 4 minutes of any cardiac arrest that happens in the Athlone area.
Athlone Emergency Defibrillator Group formed in 2021 and has been liasing with local businesses and groups to arrange the provision of Defibrillators that are accessible 24-7.
