Emergency First Aid

Our Emergency First aid course provides the learner with the necessary skills and knowledge to recognise and deal with life threatening emergencies.  We cover CPR Training, choking, serious bleeding and the effects of shock. The course is a hands on / practical skills based day of learning. The course content can be tailored for the client’s needs e.g. sport, child care etc.

The course includes:

• Patient assessment, recognising emergencies, appropriate actions.
• Respiratory emergencies
• Cardiac first response
• Medical emergencies, Stroke, Seizures, Diabetes emergencies, Severe allergic reaction etc.
• Injury Emergencies, Bleeding, Fractures, Eye Injuries, Burns & Electrical Injuries, Spinal Injuries, etc.

Relevant to persons at home, in the work place or community, requiring a basic understanding of emergency care.
